For many of us, fuchsias can bloom year round. This wee guy is 'Lottie Hobbie' and although the flowers are tiny, they are abundant. The bush looks like it is going to lend itself very well to make a hedge. I know there are lots of you out there, so come show us your winter colors!
And here is the bush. About a year and a half old now. It is hard to bring myself to prune it. But I want it to grow tall and dense to provide shade to young plants on the other side of it in the summer.

How wonderful to see Lottie Hobbie grown naturally! i've only ever seen her when she has been beaten and tortured into submission as a bonsai.And sunnyg that fuchsia is truly neon.Brightened up my morning.

I just got 'Display' last year, even though it is an old-fashioned favorite hybridized in 1881 and abundant. I don't have a photo of mine blooming yet. "Lashed to a chopstick," ha, ha, I am glad to see I am not the only one to make good use of my extra chopsticks! They are a very useful gardening tool :-D
Sundial really surprised me this morning. Funny how you can walk by something everyday and not notice. Then it grabs your attention!
