Hey y'all,
I found this picture in my files and was wondering if anyone knows who it is....it sure is pretty. I can't for the life of me remember where the picture came from.

Yes,
It does look like an Aurea...maybe Brugman will come by and help us out.

Personally I like it bigger! Now if you could only figure out how to add the scent

The name of the file was Pink 20% Beauty.jpg...Is there such a Brug named Beauty?

There is a brug called Pink Beauty. Hodnik carries it. Also I think that back somewhere in Brug space Barbara mentioned she orders from Hodnik. The hunt is on ~~

can we line up now?

Liz,
I found the picture on Yahoo and Barbs emails but can't find where she got it....maybe I just missed it. Pink Beauty is it name.

Now I think we all need one of those too. Count me in. It's so very pretty.

Looks like an aurea hybrid to me-have to see a seedpod from that Beauty and yes, definitly one for the got to have list.

one of the best of 2001

Arlene....I finally got one and hope to get it going good by spring....not a super fast grower or maybe it is just me. Barb Ward has this one if anyone want's one now.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I got it too, thanks to a very very dear friend. She's hanging in pretty good, just bought her a grow light so maybe that will help. She just couldn't fit in with all the others to get enough light.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I had it but I think it's gone to brug heaven. Not sure what happened cause it seemed like it was doing so good at first. I've been nursing the dead looking stump ... but don't think there's much hope... *sniff*

Poppysue,
It is a hard one to root..the green canes tend to rot....next time I root one I'm going to try the water crystals.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

water crystals! tell me how to do this please. i also bought some of the water crystal powder... gonna try to coat the seeds...ever done this?

Arlene,
I have never used the powder. The crystals I have look like small cubes of Jello...I just pour water on them and stick the cutting into the little Jello's. The container with the crystals have drainage holes so the water doesn't stand in the container but the crystals hold water. I rooted a Maya and gave it to Cala...hope it lives for her. I also rooted a peaches and cream in this and it rooted really well...no rot at all.

It is a beautiful flower and it looks as an aurea to me ...

It has a good, clear color and if I were to make the double pinks, that you are talking about, I would try and use this one for color in some of the initial crosses.
