I know you have contact through Dave's Garden with people all over. If you know anyone in or around any of the towns in Arizona which are mentioned,maybe you could forward this message.

So, I'm currently in Maryland and I got a call from my brother on Sunday telling
me that the police in Goodyear, Arizona called him and said my mom didn't check
out of her hotel on Thursday the 20th and they don't know where she is (and her
car is gone). She lives in Dallas, TX along with my brother, and according to my
brother she came home last Tuesday, packed her stuff, and said she was going on
a trip with Ken and Sandy (two friends of hers). Throughout the week my brother
tried calling her and she never called him back. He called me and told me to
give her a call and same thing, no response. So Sunday we get the call from the
police, and I start doing some searching. I called Ken and Sandy and they knew
nothing about going anywhere with my mom (so she lied to my brother, that's the
first red flag). I was able to get into her e-mail by answering the security
questions and found nothing of interest. However, now that I had access to her
e-mail, I was able to get into her online banking and her AT&T cell phone
account (via "I forgot my password"). She made no calls after the 18th, and the
most recent calls made were to my aunt and a friend of the family. I called the
friend of the family and he said she told him she was going to Big Bend National
Park in Texas (second lie). The hotel in Goodyear, AZ said she left her cell
phone in the room, and all of her makeup as well. Her wallet wasn't in the room,
nor her medication (she takes various medication, some of it is for her
manic-depression). As for her bank account, the last processed (not pending)
transaction was at a gas station in Payson, AZ on the 21st. There are 6 pending
transactions without dates: 1 is a recurring monthly payment to some company, 3
of them are charges from the hotel for extended stay after she didn't check out,
and the 2 most recent are from gas stations in Scottsdale, AZ and Tempe, AZ. I
noticed that there are a lot of national parks around these areas, and she's
very interested in things like that. She's always been the free-spirited hippy
type, and she also mentioned in the past that she wanted to go on some type of
Native American "spirit quest". She said things like this after her fiance past
away in 2009. She started to become mentally unstable, but in the past 6 months
or so she's seemed normal and happy. She's 55, 5'7", average female build, red
hair, green eyes, drives a silver 2003 Honda Civic SI (hatch-back) with Texas
plates, and her name is Janet. If you see her in these areas (or anywhere) or
have any tips, please notify the Goodyear, AZ police as well as local
authorities wherever you see her (and please let me know as well). We already
put out a missing person report with Goodyear PD and gave them the license plate
and VIN of her vehicle.
We're hoping that she went on some "spirit quest" and was irresponsible by not
letting us know and lying, but unfortunately I'm starting to prepare for the
worst. There haven't been any new pending transactions in at least the last 24
hours, and if she doesn't have the right medication for her thyroid and/or
manic-depression, which is possible, then I'm afraid bad things could happen to
her, not to mention the other possible scenarios. Thank you so much for taking

EDIT: I realize that some people are upset that I put "please upvote" in the
title, and I realize this is not standard Reddit protocol, but put yourself in
my shoes. Please understand that I really want to get the word out there and
hopefully bring my mother home safe.
