I have had Kentucky Rambler for almost a year and I can not get it beyond what looks almost like a micro mini stage, no blooms.
Seems to be an amazingly adaptable plant (it survived my bumbling efforts that killed a lot of plants, has beautiful variegated foliage but I would like to see blossoms.
It's description is a semi mini trailer; would like to know others experience with this one.
This shows my efforts to get it to perform. All plants are about same age!!

Kentucky Rambler question
Those are very nice! Love the variegation on them.
I had a trailer like that, too. I put mine in a terraium container for added humidity and fertilized it with a mild mix of Epson salt & water. It bloomed it's head off. Now the epson salt might turn some of your variegation green, but it just depends on the plant. You could try it with one and see if it helps??? I'd try the one that seems to be most root bound first...
Keep us posted. I'd really like to see it in bloom!

And Lane most trailers need a little more light and more food than other AVS.
I've read in the AVs magazine articles that it tends to be the heat that creates more green not the light in variegated Av's. If I remember correctly, the rule of thumb is the cooler the temps are then the better the variegation will be, the more variegation on leaves then the need for more light. Seems like the lack of green in the leaves requires more light for photosynthesis??
If you got burned areas I'd be very suspect of the fertilizer unless its true sunlight and the leaves were wet. Another thing you might consider is also an increase in the humidity because of the heat from the lights...
Hope that makes sense??? If I find the article I post it for ya.

JIM
Jim, I picked up a small plant at the Athens Ga (DAVS sale/show) this past spring. I am intrigued by it determination to survive and coloring.
