Source for chicken grave marker?

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

sorry to be morbid, but we just lost Monty and I'd really like to find a marker for her spot. Any suggestions?
Thank you

You are not being morbid about something you loved. I am sure other people will agree on here. I am sorry for your loss. You can make your own concrete marker.

We, too, recently lost a pet. I found the best place to find a wide variety of markers was Ebay. A nice selection of prices/styles. Also quite a few online if you just google "pet marker." Hope this helps--

Tamberlin, have you seen the long square rocks on a stick (rebar) they are used to decorate rock gardens. We bury our pets in our rock garden and use the rock on a stick as grave markers and then paint their name on the rock...Hay

Rock on a stick?

Ferndale, WA

Yes Porkpal, they call them a rock on a stick. they are different lengths like 12" long or 18, or 24 or so. they are drilled out and fitted with a piece of rebar about 24" long so you can drive them into the ground. They are a little Jagged but usually about four inches square. If you have never seen them they are usually sold at landscape and rockery places...They are great for burial sites as you can just paint the pets name on them very easily.

You can also find nice things at a garden center. I found a beautiful flat rock that was carved with a very sweet message when we buried my Great Dane Maxie.

Thank you all for the great ideas. i guess I just have to do some searching for the right one.
