Gorgeous shots guys!

My guys come to scold me if the feeder is low. They aren't quite hand-trained yet, but I'm working on it. One little rascal will come right to the rose of Sharon next to my car as soon as I pull in and proceed to give me a "deedee" lecture til I go to the seed can. Then he/she waits on the branch just above the feeder till I'm done, duscussing it all the while.The rest of the flock wait in the blackberry bush,but also talk to me.
They are camera shy however. I'll keep trying.

thank you for this thread.. I love birds & chickadees are one of my fav's!! I have a few in my area but they are not at my feeder this year..or maybe YET. I hear them & I know they come to my feeder occasionally! Last year they were at my feeder closer to spring so I am not concerned. Just haven't been able to get a pic of them yet!

The Chestnut-backed Chickadee is wintering here again.

They are really cute, glad you have him tiger.

I have not seen a chestnut one tigerlily... are they just as tiny as the black capped?

I don't know about weight, but they are a half inch shorter than the Black-capped.
