CLOSED: Pine or Orange Crowned Warbler?
Pine Warbler
Really tough to id without wingbars. For now I'm going with Pine Warbler. The reason for me so far is the general shape and size - Orange Crown warbler from Sibley have more of wren - like shape and is said to be small while Pine Warbler have more finch - like shape and is relative large for a warbler. At a quick glance this bird in the picture would have looked like a immature goldfinch but more details gave it away as Pine Warbler.
It may very well be immature goldfinch - it was hanging out with a bunch of goldfinch when I spotted it
Agree, Pine Warbler
Ditto to Pine Warbler
Resin
Thanks!
