Colleen,
How beautiful. Sometimes I envy you guys that live in year round warm climates. Such beauty all year round.
Are you safely away from all the floods down there? It is so sad to see the devastation on the news.

Hi all. I live in South Australia in the Riverland. The Murray River runs through here but about 4 mile from me. I live on a lake which does flood but I'm up the hill from it so will be safe. We have had a lot of rain, for us, late last year we had 6" overnight and through the next day but that is quite unusual for us here. Our annual rainfall is between 3-and10" per year. The brugs do get hit with the frost here but by September are in full leaf again. The sun also plays havoc as we can get over 110F for days. At the moment I'm having trouble with red-spider mite on a few of the brugs and the caterpillars are terrible. We also had a plague of locusts go through and they nibbled the ones in the shadehouse. I've only been growing brugs for the past 2 years, so am only a learner. I do have a Sanguinea which flowered beautifully for me during the winter-spring period and I pollinated one of the flowers with Arborea. I have a large seed pod growing but still have another couple of months before it will be ready. That is really exciting for me as it will be my very own flower when I grown them out. I haven't had any other seed-pods yet. Thanks for the comments and I will pop back in with other flowers from here. This is Clementine. Lovely perfume like lemon cake. Colleen
