CLOSED: What kind of Hawk?
After further research, I'm thinking it is a Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Hi Hack, Do you have any other photos of the lower half of the body?
Cooper's - note the tail feathers are not all the same length, also large claws.

The difference between the two is that today's pic is an adult, the few months ago pic is an immature

No, pelle, I was in my car and it was on a telephone line. It never showed me its back.

Agree with Resin...tail and claws seem to be easiest for an Id, when they present themselves.
Thanks, Burd. I am not comfortable ID'ing hawks, don't see enough of them.
