Hi ... it's me again, with another request for a Hawk ID. We have both the Cooper's Hawk and the Red-shouldered Hawk in our area and on occasion the Red-tailed Hawk. I'm thinking this is a Red-shouldered but I've gone back and forth through my photo's and have such a hard time comparing them. It was perched in the Sugarberry Tree in the backyard when I went out to fill the bird feeders this morning. I ran in to grab my camera but was only able to get two pictures before it flew off. So ... am I right, is this a Red-shouldered Hawk?

great shot of it too!
Thanks so much Resin ... can always count on you!
Nanny: Thank you, I didn't think they were the greatest shots because I was in my backyard and it was over the other side of the house in my neighbors tree. I was trying to take a picture over the roof and zoomed in as much as I could with my camera!
Nice shots plantladylin!!
Thanks Burd!
Very nice photos.....esp. the second one!
