Hi Nan, I'm glad you've started the 'snow thread'. We don't usually get snow down this way, but my feathered friends don't seem to mind the fluffy white stuffs much. Look!

That was yesterday, to day everything began to melt.

Nice one!! We ended up with about 4-5 inches here with another inch possible overnight...but more on the way this weekend!

This is not a great shot but if you look hard you will see American Tree Sparrows, House Finch, a Goldfinch, and a Junco or two.

Yep, will stay warm Nanny until tomorrow when I have to clear out the driveway. Crap!

Lily, bet is really miserable down there when it snows. At least it begin to melt quickly!!

Nanny, I see the birds. Also, I do not believe I ever before saw feeder that color. Love it.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

LOL...I picked up that feeder yesterday at Tractor Supply. Wanted another cheapie for when it rains/snows. But I splurged and bought sunflower hearts to put in it for the birds. A little extra treat due to the bad weather.

Nice pics guys! The snow just started here an hour ago.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Hardly have any snow up here, maybe 3 or 4 inches on the ground. Both my sons down the province, have over a foot of snow and they are expecting more tomorrow.
It's unusual for us to have this little snow, at this time of year.

Thought I'd share one from the 16 of Dec.

I think because the snow has came to prefer us down South. lol. Like GG has mentioned, it has been miserable with road ways being closed, seemed like everthing has shut down since Monday.

Nanny, Gus is a good looking pup. He looks well adjusted to snow.
Thanks for your awwws, girls.
Lily, at this time, I'd rather see snow then dead vegetation, but I'm with you, can't wait to see green again....... I"m envious of your Wrens .

Very pretty Mrs Ed!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Oh that is funny burn!! Mrs. Ed your new feeder looks nice in the snow!

Gus just loves playing in the snow.....goes around sticking his nose in it and racing around the yard! So much fun to watch. But it has been an adjustment having a younger dog with soooo much energy. Its like having a toddler...have to watch him every minute! He saw our little band of does yesterday and boy that sure set him off!! Thought he was going to go thru the window.

Everyone keep sharing their snow pics!!
