Wanted to again pick your brains :-)
We feed our dogs the BARF diet .. Bones and raw food ..
We use FreshStart chicken, bison and vegetables. It's flash frozen and we buy it from our supplier in bulk.
With another mouth to feed arriving in March .. we are thinking of trying to make our own.
In the past we have ground chicken breast in the meat grinder, but, it seems that the mix from the supplier has bones and skin in it as well.
Doing the veggies is a no brainer .. pretty simple.
So .. it's the MEAT we're wondering about .. do any of you make your own raw dog food ?
We also add a vitamin to the dogs meals each day (Solid Gold Seameal).
