I am looking for plants or cuttings of these two brugs. Susanne...and crown of thorns. If anyone knows a source please let me know.
Thanks!
Kyle :-)
Anybody know where to get these...
Kyle, here in my area C of T is available at all the box stores. I realize they might be hard to find in Iowa. What color interests you?
Kyle,
Brugmansia 'Crown of Thorns' was one of Liz Fichtl's. I asked her about it late 2010. She lost it in last year's freezes.
About Susanne, You will have to do a bit of digging. I do recall seeing its name recently. AnnaZ says she has one.

Have you tried asking at the Plant Exchange on FaceBook. Liz is the webmaster.
Oops! I thought Kyle was asking about the plant 'crown of thorns' - I had no idea there was a Brug that carried that name - sorry!
Kay, I should have been more specific I guess LOL
Kyle :-)
Betty....will try that too. Thanks for the info.
Kyle, I went back and read the o.p. - it specifically says 'two Brugs' - my brain is old and worn out! I hope you find the ones you are looking for.
:-)
I have 'Suzanne'.
arghyagardens.com has Crown of Thorns but they are not selling right now. Maybe you could contact them and be put on a waiting list??
Thanks Roxxanne
Bettydee, do you have a link for the Facebook plant exchange?
Linda,
This the group link:

This is the link to The Plants Exchange site proper:

Thank you!
I registered for that site, Betty. I guess I can buy plants and cuttings from there, right? I am such a challenged person - is there anything else that I need to do to purchase from that site?
You don't purchase them, you will however have to pay for postage. As a member, you will have access to a variety of plants besides Brugs. If you have extras, or make and root cuttings, you can offer them at the exchange for postage only. The whole idea came from discussions on ibrugs.com. Liz wanted a place where Brug lovers could have access to a greater variety of Brugs than what the few remaining nurseries can provide. It was also important to encourage the enjoyment of Brugs without having to pay an arm and a leg for them.
Thanks, Betty. I haven't yet received the email with my password, but as soon as I do, I'll go and see if I can find some new plants.
