Hi guys, we went out today and took a few pics, thought I would share. I will cross-link the birds and wildlife.

I think this is a common greenshank - I always have problems with these.

Brown-hooded kingfisher - light too bad.

We also saw another beautiful malachite kingfisher, but I could not get a proper pic - so sad

The normal Helmeted Guineafowl - chick en-tow

They ran for cover in the long grass - we could see 5 chicks I think

Black-headed Heron hunting for frogs I think - we could hear some in the ferns

Finally some ostrich - they were picking up stones it seemed!

I hope you like them - best I could do in terms of quality pics. It was a fun day!

Glad you enjoyed it Lily! I just wish I had a better camera. Being in an area with rhino and cats, you have to snap from the car...makes it difficult.

Glad you liked it Faeden and Margaret. My favorate birds was the longclaw and Spoonbill as well as the 2 kingfishers (which I could not take good enough pics of).
