It was a few days later, but my husband finally found what he wanted to get me for our Anniversary - a Craftsman 3.5 hp gas operated chipper shredder!!!! Yea baby!

Guess that makes all us composters detritivores. Good word!

We borrowed on of those shredders once and I loved it. Would have bought one in a skinny minute but we are short on storage space. Fortunatley we have a neighborhood yard waste area to dump the endless branches and pine cones. I compost everything else.

I have a chipper aren't they great.
I named mine Deep Throat and it makes such nice chips,just keep lighters and ash trays from falling into machine. :)
