We call that flowering maple --not sure of its "given" name.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Abutilon is its botanical name.

Keaau, HI

Looks like a type of Abutilon x hybridum.

thank you ,with those leaves looking just like a maple leaf ,its common name did not surprize me !! Glad I kept it, it seems to be an easy grower.

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

looks like the bella series to me....because of the size.

its rather petite .do you grow them ?

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

I grow several Abutilon, from the very tall (12 ft) to the Bella...they are small and here have survived quite nicely several hard freezes with heavy mulching. I grew mine from seed and they were very easy.

oH yes you can put yours in the ground ,wish I could. Ive just started getting interested more tropicals,I dont have a great deal of space inside for overwintering,so this Bella is ideal.
