This is one of my Rhode Island Red Bantams. I enjoy showing at shows. I also have Barred rock Bantams.

I would love to go to a chicken show. All we have is the county fair where the only chickens shown are meat chickens.
Thanks All. Yes Ive been MIA. I went to work full time after my husband lost his job. Big change. I have always been a stay at home mom. I like my job most days. Just trying to learn how to balance play time and work now.
We love CHicken Shows. They have them all over. Fun and neat prizes.
porkpal, there is the Fort Worth Fat Stock Show, Houston Live Stock Show and the State Fair, all really big shows.
Do any of them have classes for laying chickens? All I ever see are broilers and roasters being shown.
Check Out The Poultry Association or American Bantam Association for ideas on Classes and breeds recognized. There is a HUGE chicken world out there.
