As I was checking out my new Tillandsia I found a few things on them that I remembered from a photo labeled as "Tillandsia seeds" so I thought they were seeds. No, they are seedlings and very very teeny tiny. How do I care for these? (I'm new to Tillandsia in general.)
Tillandsia Seedlings
First - buy some medication that grants you extreme patience. Well, I just mean to say that the sedlings grow very slowly. Most peolple underfeed Tillandsias - they really do respond to regular fertilization - I try to dunk mine in a weak solution of fertilizer every few months.
If you can carefully relocate them to a small piece of rot resistant wood or cork bark they will do well if you can maintain high humidity and air movement.

Thank you for replying Dave ^_^ I'm prepared for them remaining small for a while. Right now I have them in make-shift nursery so I don't lose them. It's just mesh draped over the opening of a vase and held on so it hangs down a tad like a hammock. I lost some of them (they are on the carpet somewhere) already so I figure this will help keep them contained a bit.
Next week I hope to pick up some T food at the nursery. I will see if we can stop off and get some cork bark too or I can ask my neighbor if she could buy one while she's at the store.
