Questions on Incubating BCM eggs.

The Dalles, OR

Those of you who have hatched out Black Copper Marans eggs, what do you consider to be the ideal incubating temperature and humidity in the incubator?
I have the temp set as close to 99.5 as I can get but the humidity is another factor.
My mother would spray her eggs very lightly with warm water, once a day, to make sure they had moisture. The incubator I am using is an old one but is working much better than the Hovabator incubator. I hate that thing. Lousy hatches from it.
Any information is appreciated.

all the shipped BCM eggs I received didn't hatch well at all except 1 batch. I was lucky to get 1 or 2 to hatch and survive.
99.5 or a little over is good for fanned air incubator but if no fan you need to be at 101.5.

I would not mist them. That is only for Duck & Goose eggs. If you keep your water pans full you should have no problems. Mine was always about 45 to 50% during incubation and add more water trays at lock down to try to get humidity to 75 to 85%

Thank you DonnaB.
I have been litterally babysitting these eggs. Sure hope they hatch.
