How high off the ground can the lowest bar be? How much space between each bar is necessary? How many feet per chicken should one allow for roosting space?

Mine are about a foot off the ground and it looks like they are about 2 feet in between
You can see from this picture they like to stay close togather,I`m guessing a foot for each chicken
I do know the smaller the chicken the higher they want to be. My Sebrights roosted against the roof on a cross beam while they were temporairly in the Aviary. I am talking about a 6" space
