I was surprised to see that you have posted a picture of Joli and it is a double. When I got Joli from Delisa she said it was a single but I lost her and never got to see her bloom. I just googled Joli and some have her as a single and some have her as a double, even Dave's plant files has her as a double. I also have Rosalla that Delisa gave me and she has always been a single, then I found out that for some she is single and for some she is a double. I just got Joli in a trade with Karen, it will be interesting to see what I got. She sent a large plant that was in a 1 gal. pot for a long time and the roots went round and round. I cut her to about 6" and planted her in a 3 gal. pot and rooted lots of cuttings from her trunk.

I got the cutting of Joli from Delisa years back also. I cut it and made two small cuttings and stick to the soil; they both rooted and grow-you can see I have two in white pots in the picture. One plant produce same time single and double and the other plant only single. In this brug bed, I have about 15 cuttings of Joli that I coudn't give away this past summer so I stock all of them in that bed. Couple of them bloom double but when this cold we are having I just dug all of them mix-up and put it a trash bag along with others and I am sure tags are lost. My Rosalla, always a single.

I had the same reaction as Ken about Joli because I thought she was a single. She is listed as a single in the Brugmansia Registry, but that's about all you can garner from the registry since AKA never lists parents. My cutting is from below the "Y" and shows no signs of trying to "Y". I'll have to keep an eye on her. I've got enough pink singles. I'd like to see her as a double.
