CLOSED: Need confirmation, Myrtle Warbler?

(Zone 1)

This pretty little bird has been visiting the feeders for the past few days. I've looked through my bird book and I'm thinking it's the Myrtle Warbler (formerly Yellow-rumped Warbler)?

Palm Warbler - note the long pale eyebrow, Myrtle doesn't have that. The yellow under tail coverts are also distinctive.

Resin: I didn't even think about the Palm Warbler! I thought it was the same one that someone identified for me last February as the Myrtle Warbler (Yellow-rumped.) I have so much trouble going back and forth with photo's trying to compare for identification. Can you check this photo in Bird Files for me and tell me if it's in the right location. I'm wondering if this one is actually the Palm Warbler too? : http://davesgarden.com/guides/birdfiles/showimage/5137/ although I see white wing bars on it which I didn't notice on the bird today.

It doesn't take much to confuse me sometimes, LOL. I was just reading in my Florida field guide, and it describes the Myrtle Warbler with a white eye line, and the Palm Warbler with a pale eye line.

I sure appreciate this forum and the more precise identification marks to look at!

Thanks again,

Lin

Yep, that BirdFiles pic is a Myrtle Warbler alright! As well as the wingbars, also white under tail coverts, a touch of yellow on the flanks, and a plainer head pattern (especially behind the eye).
