Saw this warbler two days ago. When I saw it through the binoculars, I was sure it was a Tennessee Warbler because the eyeline appeared very pronounced. Then I noticed that Tennessee Warblers don't hang out here in the winter. I imagine TWs should have headed south already, so is this an Orange-crowned Warbler with an unusual distinct eyeline or a Tennessee still heading south? Only got one picture. Ignore the house sparrow in front of it.
CLOSED: orange crowned or tennessee?
Well don't take my word on it as a positive ID...but I think it is a Orange-crowned.
Ditto to Orange-crowned. Note the yellow undertail coverts (white in TN).

Thanks y'all. Orange-crowned makes more sense. I read about the undertail coverts being white, but in the pictures, you could hardly see the white. It mostly looked yellow, so wasn't sure about it. Also the breast was confusing. It seems white and clear. I think I saw it this morning though and if it was a Tennessee it would have left when the wind shifted, so you are right of course -- orange crowned.
Thanks again!
