Free Peacocks

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Again, I have more peacocks that I do pens and have two young cock from this years hatch that I do not need. They are brothers and are a hybrids cross between the India Blue and Java Green. They are 7/8 green blood and both carry the Opal color gene. Because they are young they do not have their trains yet but because they are hybrids they will be large birds with very long trains when they become adults. This is pickup only in N.E. Texas.

The bird in the picture is close to what these birds will look like when they mature;

Let me see where I land in S. Fl., close to Lake Okeechobee.
We had Peafowl when I was growing up in Texas. They are the best watch birds and so ugly;)

That's good ken. If I had a place ready I would have driven there in a heart beat.
