wow, that is nice... where is that? Florida? Never seen it look that nice here in California

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, at the Naples Botanical Garden. They had nice clumps of bamboo. They are getting hammered though now with the freeze. I am worried about all the tropicals I saw. I read your area is getting hammered with hot temps. Doesn't seem fair. LOL

I would hardly call it 'hammered' (80F is not unusual for us any time of year... it's been over 90F in January sometimes). Anyway, it's down to below 70F today... and rain's a comin'.

Oh the news made it sound so unusual for you guys. Here we are raining and in the 50s. Gloomy! Some sun tomorrow but still in the 50s.

I just was looking at seafood place online in San Diego. I saw a pic of a scallop sandwich online and had tro track it down. I so need to come go South!

that does look good... not as good as spicy scallop handrolls, though (sushi)...

Oh YUM! I thought I had a pic of one but instead this is my very own handroll our sushi place makes for me. A very spicy real crab roll with little rice. Now I want sushi! LOL
