Hello everyone!

Sorry it has been so long since I have been on here. I am happy to report that I have taken a postdoc position at the University of Missouri. I start in January, so I will be moving up there right after the holidays. I want you all to know I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here in Texas, and I was so glad to get to know all of you. I will keep in touch and since my family is in Texas, I will be visiting from time to time. Thanks so much for all the plants, the food, the friends, and the great memories!

I am sure you will find some gardening buddies up that way too, but not that love you like us Texans do!!

3' snow drifts in front of the house and truck right now....boy am I missing Texas!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

You wouldn't know much difference other than the depth of the snow. Right now the whole metroplex is socked in with icy roads. It will be several days until we get above freezing for it to melt.
Be safe, stay in if you can.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Yes, definitely staying in. Missouri has been closed the past two days and will be closed again tomorrow. I went out to take some pics and try to dig out a little, but I'll be there until doomsday with my shovel. I am hoping eventually someone will come and help me dig out the driveway. Here is a picture of Jasper to show you how deep it is. He is loving it!

Wow, he is a pretty large dog looks like. I wouldn't relish having to dig out a driveway either.

Hi Kim! I am late as usual. lol Jasper looks happy, did you have him in Texas? Send more pictures, I like to see your place ... and where you work ... in the Spring of course. lol Do you have a yard and shade you can grow great Hostas now! lol
will surely miss ... you I hope you come back to Texas as a doctor ... you can work on Sedric's diabetes. I dont trust a soul I have taken him to. Oh and btw I put him in a coma when they switched from Vetsulin to the regular pharmacy. It was a horrible experience, he went into convulsions before I got him to the emergency room. They worked him fast though ... I almost lost him.:(
Anyway hurry home.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)
