Survived First Freeze...Lettuce, Beans, Kale, Spinach,

Greens, and beets all still going strong..

Threw floating row covers over them the last few nights - seems to have helped...

And as we now have a forecast of above freezing temps for the next 10 days, it looks like we'll continue to benefit from the bounty for awhile..

Also bought a compost barrel (one of the raised barrels with turn crank) to throw my leaves and plant scraps in..

Also received my 4 shelf grow light kit that I'm going to use for herbs and seed sprouting this Winter. Today I open the box and attempt to put the sucker together..
