The biggest Alocasia "Stingray" . . .

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

. . . I've ever seen! This plant was grown by an avid gardener, but not an aroid enthusiast. It is so large that it may be my best chance at seeing this plant bloom (and then being able to cross with it).

BTW, that's a six foot wooden fence, there . . .

The largest I have seen. wonder if this mutation crosses over???

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

Well, Brian, that's a question that I'm wanting to get an answer to! If this winter is mild, that big Stingray may bloom in Spring, and if so, I'll get my chance to see if the mutation does cross over.

That is an amazing stingray. I think the stingray is my favorite. Mine are so darn cute. I want them to be monsters like that one though lol. I wonder if milorganite would do it? I have tremendous growth on my plumeria, bananas, and brugmansia with adding milorganite to the soil.

And just where can one find that miraculous stuff? :>)

Pgirl,

Very nice and healthy. I need to get one myself. Annie on e-bay has a nice one for about 25 bucks.
