DG always reminds me of how thankful I am.. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'd like to share a poem I got from a dear DGr this morning.
HOW TO OBSERVE THANKSGIVING
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT: Don't know who dreamed that up but EXCELLENT...I'm sitting here enjoying the now about seven inches of snow...It's been snowing all night and day, I just love the beautiful and quite countryside when the snow really coveres everything. Everything is so quiet, and the trees shrouded in their blanket of white. Happy Thanksgiving back to you my dear ZZs and all DGers...Haystack

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a very quiet but busy one. I Spent the entire day getting my chicken houses ready for the C-o-o-old coming our way! After hearing about the Horrible weather you guys are having Im not even going to sweat it!
Sometimes I think I just cant get through a day without wanting to cry about something that has happened . Then I look around and find that I am really a very Blessed lady! There are always other people having a much worse time of it than me! God knows what is in our hearts, and he knows what we need and He provides! He also knows what we Want and says ..." You need to want less and provide more!"

Eufauka we did the same here. Had to finish the Silkies coop. DH got us 2 huge T-Bone and baked potatoes. Getting the grandsons tomorrow til Sunday. Then we will need a vacation to rest lol.
