Happy Thanksgiving to all

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

We are sliding over to Big-D to some friend's Daughter and will enjoy meeting their family. Maggi made rolls and I am bringing a Tootsie in bloom.

Have a good day, everyone.

This Brug was from seeds we got from ABAD back in 04 and it bloomed in 05. It was a nice flower, not very dark and then by evening there was this heavenly smell coming in the window by my desk. I went outside to track it down and went strait to this Brug, the fragrance was so strong. I went to several other Brugs around the yard and sniffed the blooms and nothing compared to this one, even Dr. Seuss, which is known for it's fragrance. This Brug only had two blooms and others had dozens and she was still more fragrant. The next year we gave a cutting to a friend who loved fragrant Brugs and that Fall she posted a picture here on Dave's and it was so dark I could not believe it was the same Brug. Some years she is darker than others and some years she is more fragrant than others but on a good year she is hard to beat. At first I thought, does the world need another Pink but I think she should be registered so she can be enjoyed by others.

Ken, I love that the color goes that far up the corolla and that strong fragrance should make her stand out even if nothing else does. What is her resistance to heat and pests? I would go for it! Register it!
