Sue
it looks like your even a little bit colder then we are 6 hours north of you
it's all of our rain & being close to the ocean that keeps us a little more temperate then surrounding
we still have a frost warning

Hi Dick, yes, pretty cold. It's 46 right now at 11:30 A.M, supposed to get 55 today with 33 overnight. My daughter lives in McCloud off I-5 near Shasta City, they are still at freezing right now, their overnight is forecast for 18, brrrrrr!

It is beautiful right now. Just got back from visiting a few friends and taking pics of their gardens. It is so nice outside. Crisp but not cold and so sunny.

I thought I had no frost damage from last night but a brug in a protected spot has top leaf damage while others with no protection have no problems. Go figure! Tonight is supposed to be even colder. I just bought a 4 more frost blankets.

On way out to buy crab - $2.99 a pound. I hope they are special!

Look what I saw at a friends, a palm with PINK flowers right here in my own town! I have never seen one before! I am definitely in the throes of severe palm lust.

I was just out covering more stuff too. I saw a few more brugs with damage. Funny how we always get hit with frost at the end of November. Then I bet no more for the rest of winter. Just enough to kill off my petunias.

I got my crabs too. Very lively! I think I will drive up to Marshall and get some so fresh ones maybe Sunday.

The palm name is a very long and an odd one. When I get it typed I will be back! It is almost champagne and shrimp time. I love holidays.

I will have to watch these mature and see what they turn into.
