This usually blooms two or three times during the summer. This year it didn't bloom at all until two weeks ago, but it had the most blooms ever. Up until now, it had never had more than six at once.

I bid on 15 different Orchids, on ebay..and got the bid..(cheap) the lady sent 5 extra's..I already had 1..So besides being in cactus, guess, now I am in the orchid cactus...lol business...Love my plants...When spring comes, I will pot all of them , in their pots..Right now, I just put all of them (they was small) in 1 big pot, to get thru winter...
We're having temps in the 20's here at night, unusual for this early in the year, so the epi is now sitting on the living room floor.

I'm so looking forward to spring this year. I went Epi crazy last summer and am really looking forward to some blooms this year. I figure 3 or 4 of the plants will have blooms. Hey,,,,, Maybe all 35 will. who knows. hehe Happy New Year everyone.!!!!

WOW bivbiv! GORGEOUS! This must have been the "Year of the Epis". This year mine bloomed late also, but between 4 plants I had 40 blooms over three nights. I was in Epi Heaven!
