Did you put this plant on the id thread? Anyone there know what it is?

Hi, Sheila,
where is the id thread? I searched communities.
I sure would love to know what this is... We are rebuilding our butterfly garden at Lake Tobosofkee.

I keep it bookmarked on my watched forums so I can find it easy. I learn a lot by seeing what everyone is asking about. You can usually get a quick response from someone on there.

From what I can see it looks like Alligatorweed (Alternanthera philoxeroides), but I'm not certain.

Thanks for the link, Sheila.
Yikes. invasive. Don't think I will plant this in our butterfly garden, unless it is in a pond by itself.
Thanks, Dale
