This guy was at the Home Depot where I work. I know the pic isn't good. There is iridescent blue/green on the back, going down the tail.
Any ideas?

Kinda looks like it might belong to the swallowtail moth family, Urania
The shape looks like a Sphinx moth, but they aren't irredescent. Mostly just different shades of brown.
Yea, this is still a mystery.
Hopefully tomorrow, I'll have time to look into it some more.

Its a longtailed skipper. Skippers are kind of between moths and butterflies, fat bodied like the former but antennae more like the latter, and they fly in the daytime.
