need help....

Hello everyone! I have a problem with one of my Hybrid Fasan plants. It seems as though the newest growth on the plant is dying off and turning black. I added a photo for your own inspection... Ohww, and by the way, this plant is much bigger in comparison to the pot size....

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong....
Thanks guys

Looks like a fungus damage to me. I am not a fungicide user, but would cut the damaged tip off with a clean sharp knife, and keep the blackened area from touching the plant. The others I would watch and cut in green if they continue to grow.

Cleaning the knife in 10% chlorine bleach is a good idea before cutting. I suspect that there is still humid air where this plant grows.

Thank you AnalogDog.... The problem with cutting those blackened end tips off would (to me hurt the plant more) because I've already tried doing this and in the end the endire branch or leaf dries out because it can not callous quikly enouph. I mean even if I don't cut it it will die back anyhow.

Example: Even though this is nothing compared to the photo that I added to begin with, but the wider leaf to the left of the more greener shoot is a goner since its all dried out because of doing the exact same procedure as you just described.

Thanks again AnalogDog....

Oh, geez. That looks like a job for a systemic fungicide but I am no expert or care to be as I try to be organic as possible. Maybe someone else can help.
