Chinese Cabbage
Joe...the only one that might know is Stephanie on the Texas thread, she does veggie gardening. You best bet may be to ask on the Vegetable Gardening forum..

I like to slice thin crosswise saute it and serve it as a side dish, also very good raw in mixed salads.
YUM!
I made some soup with it ,was rather bland ..I think I like it better in a salad..That said I would grow it again as a fall veggy..As part of our resolution to eat healthy we are trying to eat a leafy green veggy eveyday..
That is a very good idea.
I know nothing about Chinese cabbage. LOL Calalily is the one who grows Chinese cabbage and has good recipes for it.
We usually make a sauce with soy sauce, rice vinegar or lime juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sometimes red pepper flakes. Saute, or stir fry, or wilt (however limp you like your greens), then pour the sauce over for just another minute. The flavor is mostly from the sauce, but all the good for you stuff is still in the greens.
Hush! I haven't had lunch.
Bok Choi is very good stir fried.
I forgot to ask, when did you sow the seeds?

I bought some plants that were at the local Co-Op and only got them because I had never tried it before also bought some Kale plants and it is very impressive as a fall crop
ok, I have grown it in spring but not fall. Never tried it from seedlings before.
