Another craft skill yet to be honed

Finally got to the project that I had been thinking about (and gathering all products) for a fun animal lover shirt. Let me tell you, using a stencil cutter is Way more difficult than I imagined. May look for another way to do it.
I am the one who was also fascinated by the silk weave paint brush that Debbie Travis used..ordered the brush....luckily used it on unobtrusive closet wall,.......where it is rather out of sight.,
It is also much harder to use ..of course I only tried it once...no one will let me try a second time in the house..will have to practice on something disposable.
Luckily I did just that with the stencils. The dogs were not impressed and neither was the kitty as my lap was unavailable for an hour.
So many ideas, so little practice :0
