Wonderful Story...

What a heart breaker!!!!! I was pulling for her. She is magnificent. One more stride and the race would have been hers. I don't think she broke well out of the gate. Felt so bad for her jockey. He really loves her.

OK GUYS I need to hear the story of this horse

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Story is 19 and 1. She won the Breeders Cup last year starting out dead last. She started dead last this year and came in second and if the race had of been another 1/4 mi. she would have won. She is the willingest filly ever. She has never been breed but soon will be. What do you think her first foal will bring and I wonder who they will choose for stud.

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

She won all 19 of her races coming from dead last. Amazing horse.

Richmond, TX

They plan to breed her to two-time horse of the year Curlin.

(Zone 5b)

I'm wondering if they'll do an embryo transfer to get as many of her offspring as possible?

Richmond, TX

No that is not legal with Thoroughbred breeding. One foal/mare/year and by natural cover only.

(Zone 5b)

What a shame. I think Zenyatta is going to have a hard time being retired. She's a pretty high maintenance gal in the entertainment department. Selfishly, I just want to see another mare as great as she is in my life time.

I love to watch her run. She has such a long stride. She is a beautiful horse.
