It is very strange that a Daffodil is blooming at the same time of my Hybiscus !!

Huummm I don't know the name of those bulbs. They look a lot like Paperwhites, but yellow.
I placed an order a few years ago for the left over bulbs and 500 or more of them arrived all mixed together.
These little Daffodils are so fragrants !

I hope all of mine don't do that. I would miss having them in the spring.

A lot of the fall blooming ones will bloom again in the spring-just like the mums

Doesn't blooming now use up energy stored in the bulb and affect next springs flower size?

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

I think this variety bloom only in November and December. The flowers will not come back in the spring.
The flowers are really fragrant and they are great indoor.
I am not worry for spring time. IN my garden I have a trillions of daffodils bulbs ... weeee

I envy you as I have none. I looked up varieities that are supposed to bloom well in the south but didn't find any at stores this fall. I guess I need to do mail order. Any suggestions for bulb sellers?

I bought several varieties at the Botanic Garden Fall sale one year. Don't know where I have any planted now, but will see if I can dig a few for you in the spring at RU.

My favorite bulbs website are:
http://www.marlborobulb.com/ - their new website is not so efficient like the old one. Request a catalog and order lots of bulbs. Exceptional prices.
http://www.kvbwholesale.com - check their clearance area and especially at this time of the year, you can find amazing deals on daffodils !!

Thanks, I will take a look at both. Sheila you are a generous woman but I don't want anyone to dig up their daffs. I just need to find a source for the ones that I read do well here.

http://www.kvbwholesale.com buy 300 daffodils bulbs for $39.99 !!!!
Those are the one I have been planted each here and they do great in the DFW area!
The quality is amazing for such a price. You better order before they sell out.

I have naturalized daffs coming up in our ditch and see them coming up all along the way to work.
