I am wondering how many of you would be interested in playing Bingo.We can start shortly or wait until after the holidays.Please give me your thoughts on this.

Sounds interesting but I have no idea how it works so maybe there are the rules described somewhere?
We will post rules before we start.Basically there is a list of plants with numbers,you make your picks and send them to the Hostess.The caller then calls numbers until someone has bingo.Prizes are donated by DG members.That determines how many will be given out.Prizes can be whatever a member wants to offer.
If you type Bingo into the search box you can see past games we have played.

My memory isn't the best, so anyone feel free to correct me where I'm wrong (and that happens a lot, lol!). Didn't the old bingos usually start at the beginning of a new month and then just run until someone won? Does anyone remember how long it usually took before a game ended (before someone won)? I'm just wondering for a time frame with the Holidays coming up.
My vote is to go ahead with bingo asap. I wonder if we have time to pull one off for Nov. still? Maybe not....or maybe we could just do one between now and the end of the year, that way it's not rushed. We could even take time off for the Holidays if that would be easier on everyone (or take whatever certain days off because whomever is volunteering is having in-laws on those days). That way we could still have a bingo soon....AND we could all still participate in Helene's Christmas ideas too and it wouldn't be too much all at once. Just an idea. It may be easiest and best to wait till Jan....I have no children and no one to cook for. My biggest thing to worry about is getting sick and not checking in for a week.
Just throwing ideas out...I'll be happy with whatever everyone else wants to do ;-)

heathrjoy,if you become sick, one of the other players can watch your card for you until you feel better and call your bingo if you get all the picks.All you have to do is d-mail the player your list of picks.

I hope nobody minds, but Lynn asked me if I could get a Bingo game rolling. I will do what I can to make the game go as smoothly as they have in the past (ok, not the one this time last year, that ran a bit long). But, those of you who know me know I can run a pretty fun Bingo . . .
