I was in a Do It Best Store and saw this display with gazing balls and asked if they had any for sale and They actually had another one in storage and sold it to me for 25.00. It is perfect for all my new Epi plants I bought this year, it actually has 2 more circles to put on for more plants. This has to be my best find it has given me so much more room for...lets say...plants.
great find for epis
Wow! Great find! How big are the circles? Was there a manufacturer's tag on it? I could use that outdoors if I anchored it against the wind.
The rings measure 8 in. The box didn't have a manufacture name on it, it was just one of those cheap corrigated boxes, they said it was for their display of gazing balls. I was over there the other day and the display was still up. If I go over again I'll ask how to get them, hopefully they'll know. I thought the same thing about outside this next spring, a couple of pretty rocks to hold it in place and....walla...someone who knew how to weld iron could probably make one.
very nice.i went one too
There are a lot of welding shops near me, but alas, I don't speak spanish. Maybe I can figure out how to copy the picture. LOL!
occarol, heres a couple of pictures of the base and rings. The base is about 24 in. and the middle bar is 6 ft. there is a hole where the rings are attached on the main bar with a screw. I hope these pictures can give you some kind of drawing or idea to give the welders. If you get one made let me know
Grace
Thanks! I hope I was able to save the pics.
If ;your planning on putting them outside, make sure that the screw that attaches the ring to the base is rust resistant or you will end up with plants on the ground very quickly. bob I love the design and think it would also save space in some areas of the greenhouse.
