Dana,
Are those 2 different Peanut crosses? I hope they color all the way up the corolla. Let us know how the fragrance is and photos of a mature flower. Lovely so far!

Wow, those are quite lovely! It's so weird but I'm not really a fan of pink but I'm digging the pinks I'm seeing on here. Which is darker, velvet or painted?

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

The hue of a flush can change with each flush, but some Brugs tend to get darker flushes in the spring, summer, and fall months and paler during the summer. Other Brugs do just the opposite. Many pinks grown in California, for some unexplained reason, don't color up much at any time of the year. I don't know what happens to pink Brugs in Washington. It will be interesting to find out and whether living neat the coast or farther east makes any difference.

Changing Forest Gump's chocolate quote a bit: "Brugs are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

Oh wow, I didn't know that but that does explain subtle color differences in pictures. I noticed for Miss Emily some pictures showed it a deep pink while others were fairly pale.
