Delilah is the charcoal gray-white cat and Keoni is the brown tabby. Delilah was a free kitty who was very socialized with other cats and humans before she was even 8 weeks old. She is quite brave, easy going, and adjusts fairly well to new things. Keoni was a pet store kitten who adjusted fairly well to us and our dog, but tends to be more cautious and skittish to other things.
This picture made me realize he's hit a milestone. In it he's hunting the laser pointer. I bought it a year ago, a couple months before his first birthday, and he's been quite scared of it since. That is the very first time he has hunted it and attacked. I was so proud but it made me realize he's been getting braver these past 6 months.
He's finally jumped on the washer, fireplace mantle, a bookshelf and he even got up to the top shelf of the closet. He's finally going onto the deck and the porch. He lets my dad pet him and he walked up to a visiting lady in the Summer.
I know I'm being silly, but I'm so glad he's getting more confident.
