My brother's wedding on 10/10/10, the bride's bouquet was red & white roses, her bridesmaid's wore black dresses with bouquets of red roses.
Only the top table had a floral centrepiece, it was candles for the rest.
The wedding cake also had red roses on it, fresh flowers look so good on wedding cakes!
Wedding in Sydney, Australia.
Congratulations to your brother and his bride. I love those colors - red and black are my favorites.
It is fall here now - rains are starting in. How is your spring this year?
we are having a lovely spring.
I missed 3 weeks while we were on holiday in Australia, the weather was cooler & wetter there than I am used to.
When I had a chance to look at my gardens I was pleased to see how many plants have come into flower, some I didn't even remember putting in!
Absolutely gorgeous arrangements! I love the colors. Hopefully your brother can remember the date!
lol - that's exactly why they picked that date.
my wedding anniversary is 06/06/05, D' Day anniversary so my military history fan hubby (& me) will never forget it.
we had a 1940's theme to the wedding so I had a lot of fun researching flowers & cakes of the day along with dress styles.
in the end my dress was more contemporary - slight glitch with the sleeves, they had to be taken off as my arms wouldn't fit into them.

Everything is so pretty!
Congrats!!! What a beautiful combo!
Hears a lil peice of advise for the new groom.. after a fashion when dates run out the pipe....just tell your bride, "honey, its just not long enough" That will keep the spark going!
Take it from a gal whose been married 5 times longer than the average of 5 years and still on the honeymooon!~ yuppers 21 years and still... NOT LONG ENOUGH!
May God bless you and give you many happy years!
