Hi everyone, I’m kind of a lurker here. I’m a beginner and only have a few plants.
I need some help. I have this tropical tree that was purchased at a Home Depot three years ago. I think it is some kind of Solanaceae, Brazilian Potato Tree. Thing is it ONLY has purple flowers. And I think its leaves are different. It is a small standard about 4 feet high and hasn’t grown much since I got it. Admittedly I just figured out this last couple months what it wants. Whew! It thinks it is a brugmansia ...It eats and drinks like a linebacker.
Anyway, if anyone can help me identify it and find some info I would appreciate it. I have been bringing it in overwinter and letting it go semi-dormant. This year I have it under lights with my 2 brugs and boy does it have happy feet.

It thinks it is a brug....
It is Lycianthes rantonnetii, Blue Potato Bush.
