stained glas and tin..

I was at the Edom Fine Arts and Crafts fair this weekend ( which was GREAT ) and saw an artist who did some pieces that were a combo of stained glass and tin.. she wasnt in her booth when I was there looking so I wasnt able to ask her questions so I thought Id ask here..

I went to Lowes to day looking for a small sheet of plain non treated flat tin and couldnt find any.. they had rolls of galvinized tin for roof flashing and what Im wondering is will the solder stick to that cause its galvinized?
