why thank you so much for the welcome! I apologize for the delay in response. I have never been on a chat board or forum so was not quite sure how this works. I have referred to Dave's Garden for plant specifications for several years, but obviously only recently joined. I look forward to understanding the many benefits available here and also to share and chat with fellow gardeners!

Rexylu....Welcome to the Texas Gardening forum. There are a lot of great people that live down your way on Dave's. I am sure you will get to me them in person if you attend some of the Round Ups (Plant swaps) that happen around the area.
Hi and welcome to DG forums! You sound like me when I first started. There's lots of really nice and well-educated people to talk "plants" with here! Do any of you experienced Texans know if there is a roundup in the west Houston/Katy area? Would it be listed on the sticky for 2011? Thanks! janet
Not much is set date wise right now. Look in Feb, they should have one listed by then. They had one in the Woodlands last year and may plan another, if I get word, I will post it. There is usually one at College Station and was one in San Marcos last year also.
