Please recommend a source and any advice for a greenhouse for growing tropicals fruit trees. My site search isn't finding what I am looking for.
I want to install a tubular frame, plastic covered vented, high wall, about 20 by 24.
It will be for growing tropical fruit trees such as lychees and mangos in raised beds along with a few cucumbers and tomatoes in winter.
I live in zone 9 in coastal Texas (in Matagorda County). Our winters are very mild, lowest is typically 28 for a few hours about 3 days a year. Often we have no freezes. Occasionally a severe arctic blast. I am more concerned with ventilation.
Thanks
Louis
Source for high wall tubular greenhouse for tropical fruit
Atlas Greenhouses comes to mind, Louis.
There are some high-walls on their site, standard side-walls (straight up before arching over) are 4ft. However, I've had them modify one of the greenhouses I've bought from them. They can cut them down to size width-wise or perhaps in your case place the side-wall bend higher up.
Check them out at: http://www.atlasgreenhouse.com/
