Help my bulbs

I recently received some paperwhites bulbs in a trade. Since it seemed to be too warm to plant here in zone 8a, I didn't plant them right away. On hindsight, I should have put them in the 'fridge. Instead, I put them in peat moss because it seemed that the roots were drying up. Well, the bulbs are growing and showing a tip. What should I do? I don't want to grow them indoors as I don't have a sunny enough window.

Plant them outside now :o)
