Maybe if you fed it, you would get some height out of her, lol.

How long did it take to reach this height?

Brandon, FL(Zone 9b)

Only had her 4 years.

She is beautiful and so are your children.

Thank you!! mind ya...my daughter is 5'8" (as a referance to the height of the tree)....and in front of her, you'll see a yard stick in front of her...it is about 4" lower than her because of the hill ... but ya still get the overall size of her.

I love Isabella, my little stick cutting from last year has given me many flushes this year and grew really nice. I have to up earth her this weekend, I have a huge tub reserved just for her for the winter. I wanted a brug tree just like the one I stood under in Niagra on the Lake ( the little town outside the falls) and they had trees on the street corners tall enough for me to stand under and see and smell those blooms, which is how I fell in love with them. I still havn't figured out what they do with those trees, since it gets freezing up there.

thats what I did I had my hubby dig up , after snippping leaves and cutting back enoough to get in the door, then we kept them in the Hot tub room an enclosed porch so the hot tub gave them nice humidity, except for white flyes and ithink aphids they did great. unfortunatly last wnter I was very ill and we didnt heat the hot tub and they froze. many days in the hospital and many days to dr trips 150 miles away, this was my first year w/o/ brugs and I missed them so much, but thanks to the generosity of several DG I have a new beginning, I will post when they bloom. Rose, I don't prune my Brugs until spring, but you are welcome to some cuttings either now or later. If you are interested, please d-mail me.

I leave mine in the ground right where she is...she usually gets taken by the cold usually in Jan... I don't cut her back till after it starts to warm up...then I cut it back and it gets taller and taller every year!!

Rose, same here for cuttings and rooted brugs. dmail me if you are interested.
I wish I could leave mine in the ground, but a big enuff tub for them should get me a tree..
